Eddy Longshore grew up near Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked for his father's Construction Company, from the age of 10, gaining decades of experience in construction practices. He left the construction field for several years where he learned his customer service skills through the business of Black Car Service. While at Greene Limousine of Atlanta he also created their training program, which was recognized by the National Limousine Agency as best practice for Chauffeurs Nationwide. During this period he was trained in customer service by Ritz Carlton Hotel Corp, and was introduced to Operations Management during his last years in the Limousine Business.

Leaving the service industry behind, Eddy was hired by Cox Industries to be a Product Champion for a roofing product that Cox manufactured called LifePine. He was responsible for acquiring and training certified contractors to support the outside sales of this product line. He then became the Continuing Education Manager for Cox Industries and now Culpeper Wood Preservers, providing learning units for architects, engineers, builders, contractors and code officials throughout Maryland, Virginia, the Carolinas, Florida, and Georgia. He also controls sales to Distribution of Laminated Columns within Eastern Florida, AL, MS, LA, and TX.
